Contact & connection checks
Read contact checks with their proper context
Check email addresses, phone numbers and connection locations and keep each result in your shop’s journal.
Give contact checks a readable result
- Email checks
Read address syntax, domain and mailbox checks, including disposable-address warnings.
- Phone checks
Check validity, line type and operator and get standardized number formats.
- Connection lookup
Read IP location and network information and search previous checks.
Inspect email, phone and connection information
Run a supported check and read its report: email syntax and domain information, phone validity and line details, or an IP address's location and network context. Each tool answers a different contact or connection question.
The shop's check history keeps previous results available for search. Consult the returned fields and time of the check, rather than treating an old result as proof that a contact detail will always remain usable.
Read each check for the question it answers
Email checks. Inspect returned syntax and domain information. A usable-looking address does not prove who owns it or that the person will reply.
Phone checks. Read number validity and available line details. Keep the returned report distinct from permission to send a marketing message.
Connection checks. Inspect the IP location and network context. A location or warning is contextual information, not proof of a person’s identity or fraud.
Use checks as evidence within a wider decision
A disposable-address warning, a phone format or an IP location can inform handling. None establishes the person's identity, guarantees a reply or proves fraud on its own.
Recorded verification activity contributes to the shop's service usage. Use Usage to understand the volumes, and the verification journal to inspect the actual answer for a particular address or number.
Use a result with its time and context
Choose the appropriate tool. Use the email, phone or IP check for the actual question. The tools return different fields and should not be treated interchangeably.
Read the dated report. Inspect the fields returned and when the check occurred. An old report does not guarantee that the same contact remains usable.
Review history and usage. Find the previous result in the journal and recorded consumption in Usage. Neither view replaces the specific check’s answer.
Give your team's contact decisions better context
Read the supported checks and retain their results without overinterpreting them.
